Beach House with Open Space Patio in Huentelauquen by Izquierdo Lehmann
This beach structure designed by Izquierdo Lehmann on a rural setting in Huentelauquen, Chile, direct facing to strong winds sea. The border built as a barrier from the abusive and corrosive sea. The height of the wall makes the building on it almost invisible from the outside. If we observe from the sea lookouts seemed only a 5 chimney arise just above the true main building.

The border also protect the patio and floorplan complete with aligned rooms which facing the view over the sea. The living and dining rooms are open along both sides with large windows, suspended between the horizon and the excavation of the patio.

Those aligned rooms connected with open large patio, which becomes main space, with double glass wall of the living room. It is connected with the interior through the living, to the main suite through the bathroom, on one side, and to the kitchen with the services on the opposite side. The 4 rooms for children/guests are accessed through a covered exterior gallery along the patio.
