Yallingup Residence by Wright Feldhusen Architects in Western Australia:
The site is a rural location with spectacular valley views to the east. The house is a holiday residence for the client and their extended adult family, and their children. The client is involved in steel fabrication, and therefore steel structure was part of the construction basis. (more…)
The Haifa House is one of residence designed by Pitsou Kedem Architects. It set in a historic avenue of Haifa’s French Carmel neighborhood. The project emphasizes and sharpens the differences between apparently similar design styles of contemporary minimalism influenced by Japan and the austere moderation of the modernism that characterized the end of the 1950’s. Both of these paradigms translate into a way of life, to the Israeli environment and climate. The sophistication and the minimalism that existed at the heyday of the Bauhaus period have been translated, in this latest reincarnation, into a spatial purity and prestigious restraint. (more…)
The Oklahoma Case Study House by Fitzsimmons Architects located in an elevated neighborhood and take unobstructed view to the downtown skyline. The main concept for the house was to combine a dense structure that would see to the Oklahoma climate while simultaneously appealing to the client’s appreciation for the residential aesthetic of the California Case Study Houses. Black House by DVA ARHITEKTA in Zagreb, Croatia:
This project consists of two black houses, one for rental purpose, requiring more lot to build. These houses are meant to be two identical units, of the same scenario and life quality, accepting the orientation and privacy; each designed on the same principle while forming a spatial composition together. This Flaming Lips Residence was a result of rocker Wayne Coyne house renovation from an old warehouse space. The architect, Fitzsimmons Architects, includes renovation of a larger master plan (known as “The Compound”) that will eventually connect six adjacent properties to this central structure. The Compound is located in a run-down part of Oklahoma City where Coyne grew up, and this project is a testament to his commitment toward building up his childhood community. (more…)
