The EG House located on steep slope in the outskirts of Belo Horizonte, Nova Lima. The house is set to get related to the natural topography of the terrain by trying to ease the access and circulation or by proposing a better use of the external areas. To achieve this goal, the house was designed so that the terrain and surroundings can be accessed from each and every one of its floors.

The bedrooms are placed on the lower floor of the house, so that the concrete slab of this wing was turned into a grass lawn adjacent to the social area, which is located on the intermediate floor. The garage is located on the same level as the bedrooms, optimizing the residents’ daily access to the house and thus avoiding the excessive use of stairways. The top floor is where the view from the house can be enjoyed to its fullest. Thus, the home office, as well as the TV room and terrace are located on this floor.
