Red Mountain House by CCY Architects
The design was conceived as a layered composition of architectural walls to guide movement, create outdoor living spaces and reveal unexpected discoveries to capture Aspen’s four mountains and the valley below. CCY Architects collaborate with B+G Design articulate the design concept by clad primary exterior material pallete with board formed concrete, blackened steel, glass and Swiss Pearl resin-based.

Inside, black smoked oak floors and ceilings, espresso stained custom millwork in African wenge and linear steel panels contrast warmly against the concrete. The sculptural quality of architecture is furthe expressed in the home’s three unique fireplaces. As a centerpiece separating the kitchen from the great room, a two-sided, see thru fireplace summarizes not only the material palate of the home but continuity of its design spirit as well.
