Residence in Voula by Spacelab Architecture
The house formed in L-shape to maximize the free space around the residence. It also allowed the development of the swimming pool and the surrounding garden. The house consists of four levels with a raised platform over the road where the living, dining area and kitchen located. An extensive glazed surface was made to look trough to the garden and swimming pool. The floor above cantilevers over the kitchen creating a protected and shaded outdoor sitting area. Three bedrooms and a master bedroom are located on the first floor the first basement is occupied by the office space, a small gym and the service quarters. The parking area is located on the second basement.

Steel Framing Structure Residence in Voula by Spacelab Architecture
The residence is made out of a steel frame structure revealed in many parts of the building. It consists of a juxtaposition of volumes covered up in different materials and textures, such as exposed concrete surfaces, perforated steel, extensive glazing and aluminum detailing ie. in the shading system.
