Jonas Lindvall A&D have designed the Villa M2 in a village south of Malmö southern Sweden. This design use minimalism and the great big open / airy / light rooms facing the lake to encourage the integration of the house’s interior with its natural surroundings. The north and entrance side to the Villa faces a road with some light traffic hence the design’s rather closed volume. Most of the interior furniture and fittings are specially designed for the house by Jonas Lindvall A&D.

Airy is the right name for this all right. These huge windows everywhere with unbroken glass planes make the spaces feel like they are joined together by a mesh of voids. Very nice hi-tech feel.
The skylight and view from the bedroom towards that lake just makes you want to live there. And the marble bathroom surfaces are a touch of class. Signature building in every way.
