Sprout Farm House by Archi farm

The Sprout house designed by Japanese Architect, Archi Farm, located in a residential corner of full-time farmer in the Edo Period Mitomi Nitta. This building was a combination of Japanese minimalism and practicality of farm houses. One of the most noticeable feature of the house is the second ground roof that ressemble the lawn. The main living space is overlooking this roof that hides large farming vehicles below it. Another interesting solution is the using of well water that gets pumped up to the roof and acts as a cooling system. Then the housing could be a place to sleep, “Underground” is the place to work and “ground”.
